Nong Nooch Tropical Garden close to Pattaya is the largest botanical garden in South East Asia. The vast gardens are set in an area of around 600 acres, that originally was to be used as a plantation to grow local fruits. Pattaya Elephant Village is a sanctuary for former working elephants. The Elephant Village features elephant performance, elephant bathing, training of elephants including a parade of re-enactment of elephant war. There are only 4 rounds of trekking a day at 08.30 am., 10.30 am., 12.30 pm., and 04.30 pm.

Underwater World

Underwater World Pattaya exhibits sea fish found in the region. The aquarium features a 100-meter-long acrylic pedestrian tunnel which is a home to different types of fish, prowling predators and a host of other creatures that inhabit the ocean depths. Walking Street in Pattaya
Those looking to celebrate with a few alcoholic beverages in tow should make their way to Walking Street in Pattaya, one of the seedier areas in the Land of Smiles. Busting out your most luxurious New Year's Eve dress might be avoided for this particular destination, as things can get a bit rowdy on this one kilometer stretch of road. To walk its entirety only takes about ten minutes, but Walking Street is sure to keep club-goers and partiers entertained until the clock strikes midnight (and long afterward). As January 1 rolls around, hungover patrons can make their way to one of the many beaches found in Pattaya and try to enjoy the Gulf of Thailand, regardless of the new year hangover settling in.
DIRECTION TO PATTAYA
Pattaya is located 147 km from Bangkok and can be reached in a comfortable 2-hour drive. There are two convenient ways to get to Pattaya. The first way is via the Bangkok-Chon Buri-Pattaya Motorway (Highway 7). The motorway is linked with Bangkok's Outer Ring Road., (Highway 9) and there is also another entrance at Si Nakharin and Rama IX Junction. The second option is via Bang Na-Trat Highway (Highway 34). From Bang Na, Bang Phli, cross the Bang Pakong River to Chon Buri and take Chon Buri's bypass to meet Sukhumvit Rd, (Highway 3, passing Bang Saen Beach, Bang Phra to Pattaya.
